About Me

I am a licensed social worker with a master's degree in Clinical Social Work.  My work history includes an array experience in a number of settings which include an inpatient substance abuse treatment center for teens and their families, a group home for delinquent adolescent males and over fifteen years of work in child protective services as a caseworker, supervisor, program specialist and manager.

We are not brought into life with manuals to follow when we come upon challenges, adversities and hard times whether it is with navigating our way through relationships, stressors, health conditions, loss/grief, trauma or any personal matter.  By drawing upon experience as a former competitive athlete I have developed a practice modality that builds upon strengths, confronts challenges and always hopes for a better outcome.

My primary mission is to provide quality services.  Over my career I have been exposed to the many barriers that prevent individuals and families from accessing the services they seek and need.  I am an "oustide-the-box" thinker and welcome any challenging barrier to overcome.  More than anything, I value the dignity and worth of each person who crosses my path.  If you have a need for assistance, are looking to make positive changes in your life and seek support and assistance, I would be happy to consult with you to see if we can develop a positive working relationship in order to reach your goals.

I am most suited for short-term, brief, and  solution-focused approach utilizing the tenets of cognitive behavioral therapy that is client specific and client driven.
